Why They Chose Us

Because they wanted an intimate ceremony with family and a few friends, Ansley and Jeremy chose our Knot Garden for their wedding. Speaking their vows by a calming fountain, while surrounded by a floral wonderland, an intimate and peaceful setting was most definitely achieved.

Jenny and Waylon chose the Perennial Garden for their ceremony. Rain was forecast for their July 25th date, but undeterred, they had a tent erected and moved along as though nothing else mattered. It rained before the wedding. But the ceremony was magical and rain-free for their special day, as the photograph below suggests.

Maura and Alex also chose the Perennial Garden for their ceremony, then transitioned to the Topiary Garden for their reception. With DJ Greg on hand, guests used the large gazebo to dance the night away to their favorite songs. White table coverings with blue toppers, made for an incredible setting in each of the four quadrants in the center of the garden. The covered pavilion was the perfect spot for the caterers setup, making the day as perfect as they had dreamed it would be.

While Hannah and Corey legally tied the knot during the Pandemic, they wanted to host a larger than life celebration with their friends and family when it was safe once again. Bride Hannah absolutely loved the vintage, historic look of the property, and was present in her elegant wedding gown and the setting in our topiary garden, complete with beautiful decorations and floral arrangements.

Marie and Myles planned for a large wedding in the Spring in the Perennial Garden. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 virus prevented the ceremony from taking place. A number of dates were discussed before the couple decided on a fall wedding in October. While the number of guests dwindled to mostly family, and rain was intermittent, they were wed in the beautiful Knot Garden and unruffled by the elements. It was an amazing ceremony and champagne reception for one very amazing couple.

Alexis and Jerald exchanged their vows in November. The beautiful wedding and reception held in our gardens, saw “made to order” weather for the happy couple. With their special day now behind them, it is difficult to imagine their wedding taking place anywhere other than Brumby Hall & Gardens. For us, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the excitement and joy on the faces of the bride and groom. Sharing this couple’s milestone with family and friends, was clearly one for the memory books . As with all our couples, we wish Alexis and Jerald much happiness for the future.
